AdventistGiving Entry Methods Compared
Quick Start
AdventistGiving is an online giving platform designed specifically for Adventist churches. It's also free for churches to use. Note that AdventistGiving is a separate organization from Jewel, so Jewel tech support cannot help you with problems using or setting up your information on their website.
There are two AdventistGiving reports each month. Since offerings should be recorded in the month they were donated, use the cut-off date of the fifteenth and last day of the month when determining in which month to post your AdventistGiving deposits. Do not use the deposit date. Example: The reports with cut-off dates of March 15 and March 31 should be posted in March, even though the March 31 deposit won't go into the bank until about April 7.
- Direct Import is the easiest method, quickly importing the most recent Deposit Report.
- Import from a File is the best method when you need to import an older Deposit Report.
- Manual Entry can be a reasonable choice for churches with very few AdventistGiving donors.
